Battery Macry is located on publicly accessible lands owned by the town of Southold, The Fishers Island Ferry District has managed this land since 1959. The Battery Marcy Project is committed to working with the Ferry District to improve the safety of Battery Marcy. We will be removing hazardous debris and filling holes within the structure. In addition, doors will be fabricated and temporarily installed to protect those from entering interior spaces featuring artwork.
